The Grand Chalet Hochfilzen is located in the beautiful Pillerseetal in the middle of the Kitzbühel Alps. A dream location that does not hold back with its scenic attractions (quite the contrary) and inspires you all year round with its unique range of experiences.

In summer, numerous hiking trails attract families as well as ambitious mountain enthusiasts. The tour up to the largest accessible summit cross in the world; the Jakobskreuz on the Buchensteinwand, can also be conquered with children and is rewarded with a fantastic view of the PillerseeTal and surrounding mountains.

In winter fun on the slopes awaits you in the Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang-Fieberbrunn ski circuit, reachable in 7 minutes by ski bus. Alternatively, the legendary Kitzbühel ski area is very easily reached by train, taking you directly to the Hahnenkamm and is free with your guest card. If the après-ski takes a little longer, you can simply take the train back later at night. The cross-country trails are directly in front of and behind the house, as is the closest toboggan run, only 700 meters away .

Whenever there is a desire for culture or shopping, world-famous excursion destinations such as the Krimmler Waterfalls, Swarovski Crystal World, picturesque Zell am See, the sports city of Innsbruck or the famous Mozart city of Salzburg, the possibilities and options are endless. There are plenty of sights and highlights to discover throughout the region any time of the year.
