In the "snow paradise" of the Kitzbühel Alps  

This nickname for Fieberbrunn promises snowy winter joy. As it is engulfed in vast amounts of the finest powder snow every year, extended fun on the slopes is guaranteed. Our tip for beginners to start off: with its 22 kilometers of slopes, the Buchensteinwand ski area is perfect for those first turns in the snow. In addition, the small ski paradise is a cheap alternative to the large ski areas in the region. You can reach the ski area via the Hochfilzen Warming district by car in just 5 minutes or take the ski bus.

Skiing & Snowboarding 

The best way to get to Leogang and the beginning of the Saalbach-Hinterglemm ski area is by ski bus. The bus stop is just 20 meters from our chalet. In the “Home of Lässig”, as the Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang-Fieberbrunn ski circuit is also called, 270 kilometers of slopes, over 60 ski huts and numerous attractions await you. It is not without reason that the ski area is one of the best in the Alps. Those who prefer to be away from the main ski slopes: Fieberbrunn is developing into a hotspot for free-riders who discover the extensive deep snow slopes of the Wildseeloder for themselves.

Cross-country Skiing

The "snow paradise" of the Kitzbühel Alps also inspires cross-country skiers with its top network of trails in front of a fantastic mountain backdrop. Around 22 kilometers of cross-country trails are groomed daily for classic and skating styles. As a biathlon hotspot, Hochfilzen offers a wide range of opportunities to get a taste of winter shooting sports. The absolute highlight event of the region is the annual Biathlon World Cup occurring right here in Hochfilzen!

Tobogganing

A must-have fun experience on a winter holiday in Hochfilzen should include a fun toboggan run with a warm-up drink or food in the nearby Hoametzl hut. Make a reservation in advance at: +43 (0) 676/6064415! The Direttissima toboggan run in the Rosenegg district of Fieberbrunn also has its charm - lit up daily until midnight.
